  • 1 tube Pillsbury pizza dough
  • 36 slices pepperoni
  • 1/2 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

  • Extra marinara sauce for dipping

Equipment

  • - Muffin tin
  • Cooking spray
  • Cutting board
  • Pizza Cutter
  • Small spoon
  • Cooling rack

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Lightly coat a 12 cup muffin tin with cooking spray.
  3. Roll out Pillsbury pizza dough onto a clean work surface.
  4. Use a pizza cutter to slice the dough into 12 equal strips.
  5. Place pepperoni slices along one side of each dough strip.
  6. Allow the pepperoni to sit slightly above the edge of the dough to create the flower effect.
  7. Spread a very light layer of marinara sauce across each dough strip.
  8. Sprinkle lightly with Italian seasoning.
  9. Carefully roll each strip into a rose shape.
  10. Place each pizza rose into the prepared muffin tin.
  11. Bake for 18 to 22 minutes until the dough is golden brown and fully cooked.
  12. Allow pizza roses to cool for 3 to 5 minutes before removing from the muffin tin.
  13. Serve warm with extra marinara sauce for dipping.

Notes

• Let the pepperoni extend slightly above the dough to create the rose petal effect.
• A light spread of marinara works best because too much sauce can make the dough harder to roll.
• Italian seasoning adds classic pizza flavor without needing extra ingredients.
• Cooking spray helps the pizza roses release cleanly from the muffin tin.
• Let the pizza roses cool slightly before removing so they hold their shape.
• These look impressive but are simple enough for family nights, parties, holidays, and kid friendly cooking projects.
